Single Fiber Fusion Splicer FSM-90S+

The 90S+ delivers a reduction in overall splice process time when compared to the previous 70S+ model. Such an achievement has been made possible thanks to a combination of improvements to the reaction time of the automated wind protectors and automated heater, new fibre retention clamps and improved universal sheath clamps. Thanks to a redesigned internal structure which matches the protection sleeve to the fusion splice point, successful splicing is accomplished without the need for the user to touch the 90S+ once the process has started.

FTTH Splicer FSM-41S+

Fujikura 41S+ is a fully ruggedized active splicer for fusion of claddings. The core sensing loss estimation technique offers the most precise estimation of splice losses available in any active splicer for alignment of cladding anywhere in the world. Utilizing Warm Splice Imaging (WSI).

The 41S+ is able to assess the precision of alignment using the evaluation of the splice’s splice’s performance when it is heated. This technology provides estimates of splice loss with higher accuracy than ones that are based on the cladding alignment.
